Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga was taken back to the Nairobi Hospital barely few days after he was discharged from the facility.
A source close to the family revealed that the former Prime Minister visited the Nairobi Hospital on March 18, 2021 for an appointment with his doctors at the facility.
“His doctors wanted to see how he was faring on. He was attended to and allowed to go home and continue with the self-isolation,” the source stated.
His brother, Oburu Odinga also confirmed the information saying that Raila checked in at the hospital for a routine checkup with the doctors after he tested positive for Covid-19.
“Raila is doing well. It was just a normal check-up. He is back home,” Oburu told the People Daily.
Odinga was first admitted at the Nairobi Hospital on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 after he complained of body ache and fatigue.
