Drama unfolded along Thika Road Superhighway on Sunday, November 3 night after a minor accident almost turned deadly.
According to an eyewitness report seen by The Kenya Times, the unprecedented happenings started at Kahawa Wendani, when a Toyota Prado hit an Uber car.
However, after hitting the car, the Prado driver did not acknowledge the accident and decided to drive off.
Notably, the Uber driver was inside the car waiting for an online taxi request.
In a fit of rage, the Uber driver did not take what he presumed an arrogant action kindly and decided to engage in a high-speed chase with the SUV.
His aim, according to the eyewitness report, was to stop the offending driver and make him pay for the damage caused on his car.
What happened later seemed like a script straight out of a movie. As he drove, the Uber driver heard someone in the Toyota Prado screaming for help.
According to descriptions by the eyewitness, the person screaming for help was bald and dressed in a white vest.

Accident Puts a Stop to the High-Speed Chase
Nevertheless, the chase continued and after getting to Kahawa Wendani, the Toyota Prado lost control and dramatically veered off the Superhighway.
The SUV hit the superhighway grills and ended up in the drainage system.
After the unfortunate accident, three people alighted the now destroyed car including two men and one lady. The three people were all armed with guns.
Witnesses who had gathered around the accident scene tried to stop the three, noting that there was still a fourth passenger left in the vehicle. In response to the pleas from onlookers, the three shot in the air thrice.
Spooked by the gunshots, the onlookers ran away as the three-armed assailants walked to the Shell petrol station in Kahawa Sukari where they threatened a bodaboda operator with a gun.
Frightened, the bodaboda rider let them take the bike, which they later used to make their escape.

Kidnapped Man found in Assault Vehicle
However, inside the Toyota Prado, now left by the roadside trench, was a man who seemed like he had been a victim of a carjacking.
He had been left inside the SUV with his hands tied with ropes.
When questioned by onlookers, he stated that he had been going through the horrific ordeal since Friday.
Additionally, he stated that his kidnappers had demanded ransom from his family for his release.
A popular car dealer on X, confirmed the accident, further explaining the circumstances that led to the carjacking and ultimate kidnapping.
Of note, he noted that the carjacking incident had happened to two car sellers, (his colleagues) who were taking two SUVs to a potential client for viewing.
“This business of ours has a dark side, kidnappers and/or car jackers,” the car dealer posted on X.
However, later, he noted that the police officers based in Kahawa Wendani were investigating the case, and the two affected car dealers were in safe hands.
