In a tragic incident at the Tel Aviv Estate in Nairobi’s Embakasi area, a woman died after falling from the 6th floor of an apartment.
Reports indicate that the yet to be identified woman was sitting on a balcony rail before the fatal fall, with a witness present at the scene noting that signs strongly indicate that she may have fallen from the 6th floor.
“She seems to have fallen from the 6th floor because she cut a line on the 5th floor on her way down,” said the witness.
The incident, which occurred on Saturday, April 6, at around midday, has left residents of the estate reeling from the shock of the scene.
Witness’ account of the scene
Witness’ account say, the woman was found bleeding from her ears, mouth, and nose, suggesting a severe impact as she reportedly fell headfirst on her back.

However, it was not yet clear by publishing time, what exactly led to the woman’s death with speculations of her being pushed or having committed suicide still up for debate.

Also, the woman is said to have had a bottle of alcoholic drink on her which sparked the speculation that she may have been intoxicated.
Residents of the Tel Aviv estate expressed their unfamiliarity of the woman, indicating that she was not a recognizable face in the community.
Police arrive at the scene
Upon the discovery of the woman’s body, the police from the nearby Embakasi station were called to the scene to secure the area.
Pictures seen by the Kenya Times News Desk showed a police car leaving the scene with the body of the unidentified woman, highlighting the somber aftermath of the tragic event.
