The Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) has announced attachment opportunities for students in universities and colleges.
In a notice on Friday, November 14, CA invited ongoing students to apply for the 3-month attachment opportunities across 17 different departments.
“The Authority invites applications from ongoing students a three-month (3) attachment opportunity,” read the notice.
The Authority, which serves as the regulatory agency for the ICT sector in Kenya, is seeking students interested in gaining practical experience in fields related to telecommunications, cybersecurity, broadcasting, multimedia, e-commerce, postal, and courier services.
According to CA, the deadline for applications is November 21, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. (East Africa Time).

The attachment programme offers opportunities across 17 departments, each aligned with specific fields of study, including:
- Human Resources and Administration: Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Management Studies
- Corporate Communications: Mass Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Media Studies, Communication Studies
- Finance & Accounts: Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration
- Supply Chain Management: Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration
- Frequency and Spectrum Management: Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Radio Frequency Engineering, ICT

Eligibility criteria
To qualify, the applicant must:
- Be an ongoing student in a recognized university.
- Apply for a department that aligns with your field of study.
- Demonstrate a keen interest in gaining hands-on experience in a regulatory environment.
