Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka has addressed reports that he has been offered an Attorney General position in the cabinet of President William Ruto.
Speaking during a presser, Musyoka has said that he has no intention of joining or working with the president.
Additionally, Kalonzo said that he has not received any invitation from the head of state to that effect.
“I have not received any offer to become an Attorney General. The simple truth is that I am not interested. The Azimio coalition has not received any notice to show that ODM is pulling out. In fact, people are coming out in heaps,” said Musyoka.
At the same time, Jubilee Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni has said that the coalition does not support any members who agreed to take up government positions.
Azimio has maintained that it is the greatest form of betrayal to the people of Kenya.
“We neither support nor take part in the proposed broad-based government of national unity. We believe it is the greatest betrayal of Kenyans and especially gen Zs and millennials,” he said.
