KNEC Issues Update After KCSE 2024 Results Portal Crashes

The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) has issued an update on how to get the 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results after the website crashed.

In a statement, the Council indicated that the site went down because of a high number of requests being sent to the portal.

According to KNEC, the site was receiving up to 300,000 hits per second causing delays in feedback.

However, the site had been fixed and was fully functional for candidates who wanted to check their exam results.

“The portal for checking the 2024 KCSE examination results is fully functional and candidates are receiving their results.

“The minor delays in receiving feedback are due to the high number of requests being sent to the portal, of up to 300,000 hits per second,” stated KNEC.

Further, the Council urged Kenyans to remain patient noting that every candidate will eventually receive their results.

“We urge Kenyans to be patient and assure them that everyone will be able to access their results,” added the Council.
