A French Based Company, Bureau Veritas has announced its decision to assume the operation and management of Yana Oil Limited lubricating oil blending plant in Nairobi.
Bureau Veritas is a world leader known in Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) industry.
In a statement on 6th March 2024, the company stated, “Bureau Veritas, is pleased to announce its agreement to take over the operation and management of Yana Oil Limited lubricating oil blending plant in Nairobi, effective March 1, 2024.”
Betrand Martin, Senior Vice President of Bureau Veritas Africa while confirming the move, noted that they are equipped to offer required support for the company.
“With a rich history of expertise in testing, inspection, and certification, Bureau Veritas is delighted of this partnership which marks a significant step forward for the company supporting the Oil & Petrochemical clients in East Africa,” he noted.
Martin also added that the French Company is committed to leveraging their technology, knowledge, capabilities, and experience to provide exceptional regulatory support and quality assurance to clients.

Bureau Veritas Vice President further said that the partnership not only reinforces the company’s foothold in the region but also highlights its commitment to assisting clients.

Cyprian Kabbis the District Chief Executive, Bureau Veritas East Africa said that taking over the operation of the Yana Oil Lubricants Laboratory, Bureau Veritas aims to elevate the industry standards and ensure that all related products meet rigorous quality requirements.

In response to Bureau Veritas’ announcement regarding the partnership, Kamran Kangari, CEO of Yana Oil, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration.
