Kenya has been ranked among Pakistan’s top five export destinations globally and the largest market in Africa after its exports hit KSh41 billion for the fiscal year 2025-2026.
According to data from Pakistan’s Ministry of Commerce’s Trade Analytics, exports to Kenya rose to $319.9 million (approximately Ksh41 billion), up from $251.6 million (approximately Ksh32 billion) recorded over the same period last year, representing a 32 percent growth.
President of the Pakistan Kenya Business Council, Rafique Suleman, noted that Pakistan’s expanding presence in the Kenyan market is encouraging for the export sector.
“Pakistan’s growing footprint in the Kenyan market is highly encouraging for our export sector. Rice exports have played a pivotal role in driving this growth, while access through Mombasa has enabled Pakistani products to penetrate not only Kenya but the broader East African region,” Rafique Suleman, President of the Pakistan Kenya Business Council, said.

Further, he noted that the Port of Mombasa serves as a key regional gateway, enabling Pakistani goods to reach neighboring markets, including Uganda, South Sudan, and Rwanda, hence expanding Pakistan’s trade presence across East Africa.
Suleman also acknowledged support from government and diplomatic officials in strengthening bilateral trade ties between Pakistan and Kenya.
Pakistan’s exports to Kenya have expanded to a broader range of products, including used clothing, pharmaceuticals, textiles, garments, sports goods, IT services, software solutions, and renewable energy equipment.
