A popular Nairobi TikTok seller, Shiquo wa Hii Style, has suffered a major setback after a raid at her RNG Plaza outlet led to the seizure of shoes and other merchandise valued at up to Ksh 20 million, which authorities described as fake.
In a video statement on her official TikTok account, the trader has spoken out after a raid at her RNG Plaza outlet led to the seizure of stock allegedly worth up to KSh 20 million.
Shiquo wa Hii Style said her entire stock had been taken, telling followers that customers visiting the store would find it empty.
“Everything has gone. Everything has completely gone in my stock. And it doesn’t just go into a lot of other things. If I tell you what’s following that… It’s a lot of things. Customer, everything has gone. If you literally come to RNG Plaza, you won’t find anything. They’ve gone. And everything has gone with everything,” Shiquo said in the video.
She described the incident as a major setback that had affected her business operations.

The entrepreneur revealed that the loss was difficult to process, saying the scale of what had been taken left her struggling to continue.

Despite the setback, she maintained that she had to remain focused and move forward.
“And it didn’t happen today. But I just had to compose myself and get a hold of myself because we have to move on. We must keep moving,” Shiquo wa Hii Style said.
The entrepreneur said she hoped others would learn from her experience, adding that while the situation had affected her business, it could help prevent similar challenges for other traders in the future.
She also spoke about the importance of respecting ownership rights, noting that global brands are built by individuals and companies that own them. She urged business owners not to interfere with other people’s property or brands.
Despite the setback, Shiquo thanked her supporters and followers, calling them brothers and sisters and expressing appreciation for their continued support during the difficult period.
