Investors have been invited to bid on a 13-floor commercial property offered for sale by a Kenyan Sacco in the Nairobi CBD. In a notice by the Sacco’s Chief Executive Officer on June 11, Ufundi Savings and Credit Co-operative Society (Ufundi Sacco) announced the sale of its Ufundi Co-op Plaza.
According to a tender notice issued by the Sacco, the commercial building is located on L.R. No. 209/2571 at the junction of Moi Avenue and Moktar Daddah Street.
“Ufundi Sacco Society invites bidders for the purchase of Ufundi Co-op Plaza on L.R. No. 209/2571. This property is situated at the junction of Moi Avenue and Moktar Daddah Street, within the central business district of Nairobi County,” the notice read in part.
Ufundi Sacco Shares Details Of Ufundi Co-op Plaza
From the Ufundi Sacco notice, the property sits on a commercial plot measuring approximately 0.0546 hectares and includes three basement levels in addition to the 13 floors.
The Sacco said the building has standard fittings and finishes and is well maintained, helping it attract and retain tenants.
“The maintenance level is good, which attracts and commands good tenants,” the sacco detailed.

Additionally, the property offers approximately 49,000 square feet of lettable space and is held under a 99-year leasehold title effective from March 1, 1988.
The building is equipped with essential amenities, including electricity, telephone lines, piped water, a standby generator, lifts, firefighting equipment and a 24,000-liter water reservoir.
How to Bid
According to the tender notice, individuals or firms interested in bidding for the property must first obtain the tender documents by paying a non-refundable fee of KSh5,000.
“Tender documents detailing Ufundi Co-op Plaza may be obtained from the C.E.O’s office at Ufundi Co-op Plaza on the 12th floor on normal working days between 9.00 am and 4.00 pm,” it highlighted.

The notice states that completed tender documents should be placed in a plain sealed envelope clearly marked “FOR TENDER” and addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Ufundi Co-operative Savings and Credit Society Ltd, P.O. Box 11705-00400, Nairobi.
According to Ufundi Sacco, the sealed bid documents must be deposited in the tender box at the Sacco’s offices on the 12th floor of Ufundi Co-op Plaza and received no later than 12:00 noon on July 1, 2026.
The notice further indicates that tender opening will take place at 1:00 p.m. on July 1, 2026, at the Ufundi Sacco Boardroom on the first floor. Bidders or their representatives are free to attend the opening exercise.
