The International Workplace Group (IWG) has opened a new state-of-the-art flexible workspace in Thika to keep pace with rising demand across Kenya.
According to Mark Dixon, CEO and Founder of International Workplace Group PLC, the new HQ in Thika will strengthen IWG’s presence in a key business hub and will be developed in partnership with Wakati Limited.
“We are establishing a stronger and much-needed footprint in Thika with this latest opening. As an important business hub, Zuhura Place is a fantastic place for us to boost our expansion plans. We are very pleased to partner with Wakati Limited to develop the Regus brand under a management agreement that will add a cutting-edge workspace to their building,” said Mark.
He added that the new workspace offers companies flexible, scalable solutions that help them reduce costs while improving employee satisfaction and productivity.
On her part, Susan Irungu, Managing Director at Wakati Limited, highlighted that the partnership with IWG is more than a business arrangement and noted Thika’s potential as a strategic commercial hub.
“By connecting our clients to a global workspace ecosystem, we are opening doors, removing boundaries, and elevating our service offering. We are proud to bring global standards to our local market and equally proud to showcase Thika as a thriving destination within IWG’s international network,” said Susan.
She explained that connecting clients to a global workspace ecosystem will open doors, remove boundaries, and elevate service offerings.
Elsewhere, in 2024, International Workplace Group welcomed 899 new partner locations and counts 83 percent of Fortune 500 companies among its customer base.
International Workplace Group (IWG) Launches a New Workspace in Thika
According to Mark, the addition of the HQ centre in Thika follows the company’s highest-ever revenue, cash flow, and earnings growth, as well as rapid network expansion.
He added that the new Regus location will feature private offices, meeting rooms, co-working spaces, and creative spaces.
“The addition of International Workplace Group’s latest location in Thika comes on the heels of the business posting its highest-ever revenue, cash flow, and earnings growth in its history and achieving rapid network growth, with more new locations signed and opened in the first half of 2025 than in the entire first decade of its operations,” read part of the statement.

Meanwhile, the six-storey building, which opened in December 2025, provides workspace for established firms and start-ups across various industries, including steel products, food processing (such as oil, bakeries, and nuts), and pharmaceuticals.
Alongside this new development in Thika, IWG is already welcoming businesses to its recently opened HQ centres at The Brick Mall on Thindigua, Kiambu Road, launched in Q3 2025.
With premium private offices, co-working areas, meeting rooms, and creative zones, plus on-site parking and proximity to Nairobi CBD, it provides a ready-made base in one of Kiambu’s most vibrant districts.
Organizations securing space now not only join a thriving business community in Thindigua but also enjoy priority access to the reserve at Zuhura Place, Thika, creating a strategic network presence across two of Kenya’s fastest-growing commercial hubs.
