Wavinya Ndeti Welcomes Dr. Mutua’s Endorsement

Wavinya Ndeti has accepted the endorsement from incumbent Machakos governor Alfred Mutua to run for the county governorship seat.

The Former Transport Chief Administrative Secretary welcomed the endorsement saying, it is a big plus.

Wavinya further added that she is confident she will clinch the Machakos top seat.

“I graciously accept the valuable endorsement by the outgoing governor Dr. Alfred Mutua and treasure his public commitment to vote for me,” wrote Ndeti.

“It’s a big plus for us and goes a long way to demonstrate confidence that only our team has what it takes to steer the County.” She added.

Moreover, Wavinya confidently added that Mutua’s endorsement is proof that she is the best preferred candidate by the people of Machakos, unlike her opponents whom she termed as ‘imposters’.

“Getting all sons and daughters of the soil rallying behind my candidature is a true testament of the clarion call of MASAKU KWA ANDU MA MASAKU, unlike the other camp of crooked imposters. Indeed, we are winning big,” she said.

During a Kenya Kwanza rally in Machakos on Saturday, July 30, Mutua threw his weight behind Ndeti, terming her as the best candidate to lead the county.

“I have served you as governor and I am about to leave office. I want to tell you my preferred successor. On August 9, I am voting for Wavinya Ndeti as governor because she is the only one who can develop this county,” he said.

Nonetheless, Wavinya Ndeti will be contesting against top political figures among them United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Chairman Johnson Muthama and former State House Chief of Staff Nzioka Waita (Chama Cha Uzalendo).
