The Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) released the official list of approved Technical Studies textbooks for Grade 10 learners, in the transition of 2025 Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA) candidates to senior schools under the Competency-Based Education (CBE) system.
In a notice issued on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, KICD said the approved Curriculum Support Materials (CSMs) are intended to guide teaching and learning in senior schools as the first cohort of Grade 10 learners begins their studies under the new curriculum framework.
The technical subjects listed by KICD include Aviation, Building Construction, Electricity, Metal Work, Power Mechanics, Woodwork, Media Technology, and Marine and Fisheries Technology.
