Brookhouse International is one of East Africa’s leading private school networks, established with a vision to provide high-quality international education to students in Kenya.

Over the years, Brookhouse has expanded its operations to include multiple campuses in Nairobi, offering education from the early years through A-Level, as well as specialised programs such as BTEC and International Foundation Year (IFY).

Founders and Owners

Initially owned solely by the Mehta family, it underwent a significant equity buyout in 2010, with AfricInvest acquiring a 30% stake alongside other investors.

In 2015, the school was sold to UK-based Educas for Ksh 3.6 billion.

Today, Brookhouse is owned by Educas, a UK-based private equity fund, and is part of the Inspired Education Group.

Brookhouse Group of Schools was founded by the Mehta family in 1981 in Nairobi, Kenya.

Their exact locations are as follows;

  • Karen Campus — Magadi Road, off Lang’ata Road, Nairobi.
  • Runda Campus — Off Kiambu Road, north of the city suburbs, Nairobi.

Brookhouse International School offers flexible payment options for tuition and boarding fees.

Fees may be paid in full at the start of the academic year or in three instalments at the beginning of each term.
