The Uzima University is a specialized medical institution located in Kisumu County, Kenya, along the Kisumu-Kakamega Road in the Kondele area.
It is the only university in Kenya solely dedicated to health sciences, positioning it as a premier institution for medical education and research in the region.

The university was founded through the vision of Rev. Zacchaeus Okoth, Archbishop Emeritus of Kisumu, in response to the urgent need for medical expertise and services across Africa, particularly within the AMECEA (Association of Member Episcopal Conferences in Eastern Africa) region.
Uzima University also hosts the Centre for Analysis of African Medicinal Plants (CAAMP), a center of excellence committed to researching, identifying, and promoting the use of African medicinal plants.

A mean grade of B (plain) in KCSE, with at least B (plain) in Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics or Physics, and English or Kiswahili or
