Dignity Furniture Kenya is a furniture store offering a diverse selection of both home and office furnishings, including living room sets, bedroom furniture, dining solutions, and office essentials.
The company focuses on providing high-quality yet affordable products and frequently features sales that attract customers looking for value.
Their target clients include homeowners and businesses seeking stylish and functional furniture for various settings.
Dignity Furniture has branches in Langata, Mlolongo, Thika Road, and Parklands.
Rajesh Keria founded the Company in January 2014, and he has been serving as the Director ever since.
In a past interview, Keria narrated that he was looking for quality furniture for his home and office, but the available ones were either expensive or did not suit his style.
The market gap prompted him to start Dignity Furniture to supply affordable, stylish imported furniture to homes and businesses.
How the Journey Started
Kerai and a business partner launched the first showroom in Lang’ata, Nairobi.
The two contacted suppliers in China and raised Ksh3 million from their personal savings and loans to start the first showroom.
Their approach was hands-on—managing everything from receiving stock to recruiting and marketing—before gradually structuring the business for long-term success.
“We were able to convert the inventory in a week, selling to offices and corporates as we had a waiting market. This earned us trust from our suppliers overseas,” Kerai said.

Growth of Dignity Furniture
Dignity Furniture originally dealt with corporate offices.
Through this, they established trust with suppliers, enabling them to receive stock before payment.
They adopted bulk importing and built capacity to store and deliver quickly, thereby managing demand and improving stock efficiency.
“We discovered as soon as we had started that we were overworking, and the long-term effect of that would affect our business. The other thing we found out was that we needed a leader for the business, someone who had a hand on the management side of the business,” Kerai said.
The Company currently has 73 employees and $2.1 million in revenue.
Dignity Furniture headquarters are located in Trax Complex, Thika Road, next to Kenya Clay Works Exit 10/ Unicity Exit, Nairobi, Kenya.
