Popular journalist Njambi wa Njau has left the Royal Media Services (RMS), where she held the position of a presenter at Inooro TV.
Njambi wa Njau in a statement on Wednesday revealed that she left the station for greener pastures abroad.
The popular presenter said that she was moving to the United States of America (US) where she is set to work with another media station.
However, she remained tight-lipped on the nature of her new job.
“Life is about leaving what you think you love and trying new things. It’s about coming to a closure of the things that make you think you are ok and yet you are not,” she said in a post.
“My tenure at Inooro TV has come to an end but I thank God for the new blessing. Diaspora people, let us meet on your screens.”
The media personality further expressed her joy with the new opportunity that she has landed thanking God for the step she has taken.
Inooro TV Anchor announces move to US
Njambi revealed that she was already in Washington DC, USA, adding that she had received a warm reception upon arrival.

“I thank God for the new face and step of life he has given me I thank him for choosing me among Many and blessing me.”
“So far so good I am thankful for the warm welcome I have received in Washington,” she added.
The TV personality worked as a Kikuyu vernacular news presenter and a show host at the RMS-owned station before leaving her job to move abroad.
Njambi separately worked as an actor during her earlier years in the profession and was part of a theater group called Liberty Theatre.

She joined the Inooro TV newsroom as a reporter in 2016 before resigning in 2018 for another opportunity before making a comeback at the RMS station in 2020.
Comeback at RMS
In her comeback at Inooro TV in 2020, she replaced Muthoni wa Mukiri who had announced that she would be quitting the station on her Facebook page.
“It’s been an amazing five years but my journey at Inooro TV has come to an end. I want to thank you my fans, my supporters, my friends, and everyone who has supported me during that journey. I will miss you dearly. God bless you all. I believe when one door closes another one opens,” said the high-flying former Kikuyu vernacular news anchor.
Njambi has in a past media interview disclosed that she grew up with a dream of pursuing journalism and used to look up to celebrated TV icon Julie Gichuru as her inspiration.
