Housing Corporation Announces 59 Jobs; How to Apply

The National Housing Corporation (NHC) has advertised fifty-nine job opportunities across its various departments.

In a notice on Tuesday, July 02, NHC invited interested candidates to apply for the positions.

“The Corporation is seeking to recruit results driven and highly motivated individuals,” read part of the notice.

These roles include a General Manager for Research, Product Development & Capacity Building, with two available slots.

Also, the NHC is looking for a Project Manager and a Marketing Manager.

Additionally, the National Housing Corporation is hiring three Research and Innovation Managers and an Assistant Manager in Interior.

Further, the organization is also looking for individuals to fill multiple roles such as Principal Construction Officer, Principal Engineer (Civil/Structural), Principal Quantity Surveyor, and Principal Interior Designer.

Terms of Service for National Housing Corporation Jobs 

In addition, candidates interested in these positions should note that appointments for Grade 2 roles will be for a contractual period of five years, renewable based on performance.

Grade 3 positions also offer five-year contracts, renewable on satisfactory performance, while roles in Grades 4 to 12 are permanent and pensionable.

Also to note, NHC stated that it’s dedicated to fairness and equal opportunities for all, in line with the Constitution of Kenya.

More also, the National Housing Corporation encouraged applications from individuals with disabilities, marginalized communities, and minorities.

Interested candidates and persons are required to submit their applications online through the NHC website.

What’s more, the deadline for applications is July 22, 2024, at 5:00 PM (East African Time).

Also, candidates are requested to attach all relevant qualifications, as applications without them will not be considered. 

MTRH Training positions

Elsewhere, Moi Teaching & Referral Hospital (MTRH) has announced 19 training positions. The openings are in General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Pediatric Surgery and in Neurosurgery. 

In addition, two positions are available in Anesthesiology, 4 in Ophthalmology and 4 in Anatomic Pathology. 

Minimum requirements

Interested candidates must have a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.Ch.B) degree from a recognized institution by the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council.

Further, they should have both a Certificate of Registration and Retention from the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council.

Additionally, candidates need to be able to sponsor themselves financially. If currently employed, applicants must provide a letter of release or sponsorship from their employer.

Besides, two letters of recommendation are required, one from the supervisor and another from the Hospital Clinical in-charge, such as the Medical Superintendent.

Also to note, candidates must possess valid Professional Indemnity Cover and Medical Cover.

Furthermore, an application fee of Ksh.5,000/- is mandatory and should be paid to the specified account number of Moi Teaching & Referral Hospital at Kenya Commercial Bank, Eldoret West Branch. Applicants need to attach the payment slip to their application.
