The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has announced 257 career opportunities, including 50 positions for drivers and 200 internship opportunities for graduates.
In a notice dated Tuesday, August 19, 2025, the Authority called on qualified candidates to apply.
“The Authority is seeking to recruit results-oriented, self-driven, dynamic, and experienced individuals with high integrity to fill the following positions,” read part of the notice.
Positions Advertised by KRA
According to the notice, some of the jobs advertised include:
1.Officer, Data Integration (1 position)
Responsible for developing and maintaining robust and secure data integration solutions to consolidate information from various internal and external sources into KRA’s data ecosystem.
2. Officer, Revenue Assurance and Fraud Analytics (1 position)
Focuses on executing data-driven strategies to ensure revenue integrity, minimize leakages, and strengthen fraud prevention mechanisms.
3. Officer, Security Tool Operations (1 position)
Involves managing and maintaining security tools to protect the organization’s IT infrastructure and business systems.
4. Officer, Business Application Support (1 position)
Provides technical support and maintenance for business applications to ensure seamless operations and alignment with organizational objectives.
5. Officer, Data Centre Operations (1 position)
Responsible for managing and maintaining KRA’s data centres to ensure high availability, performance, and security of IT systems and infrastructure.
6. Officer, Knowledge Management (Strategy and Programmes) (1 position)
Implements initiatives and programs to support the corporate knowledge management (KM) strategy and policy, enhancing knowledge retention, sharing, and utilization for effective revenue administration.
7. Officer, Knowledge Management (Knowledge and Infrastructure) (1 position)
Manages and maintains infrastructure and systems that support KRA’s knowledge management initiatives, ensuring effective storage, retrieval, and use of knowledge resources.

The graduate trainee programme advertised by the Authority, seeking to recruit 200 graduates, targets university graduates from recognized institutions and is designed to develop future tax administration experts.
Trainees will gain experience through:

- Mentorship and coaching
- Formal training
- Volunteering opportunities
- Job rotation across tax, customs, and industry specialist groups
Requirements For Candidates
Successful candidates will be required to present the following documents in line with Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010:
- Valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI)
- Valid Clearance Certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
- Valid Tax Compliance Certificate from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
- Current Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) clearance report

Registration
- Visit https://erecruitment.kra.go.ke/login and click on the Register button to begin. Use your personal (non-work) email address.
- After registration, an email will be sent to confirm your account and complete the process.
Log in
- Return to https://erecruitment.kra.go.ke/login.
- Enter your username and password, then click Log in to access your account.
- Once logged in, the system will open the Applicant Cockpit.
Candidate Profile
- In the Applicant Cockpit, go to the Candidate Profile tab.
- Click My Profile to create or update your profile (upload documents in PDF format).
- Follow the prompts and finish by clicking Overview and Release.
- Tick the checkbox to confirm completion of your profile.
Application Process
- To view open positions, click Employment Opportunities in the Applicant Cockpit.
- Under Job Search, click Start to see available vacancies.
- Select a job posting to view its details.
- Click Apply at the top of the page to submit your application.
- Complete all required fields and follow the instructions.
- After reviewing and accepting the Data Privacy Statement, click Send Application Now.
