The Ministry of Health (MoH) has announced vacant positions in the health information technology digitization for universal healthcare project.
In an advert on March 25, the Ministry advertised 55 vacancies in 21 different positions.

The Ministry said it is undertaking an elaborate process to digitize its health ecosystem, a key enabler towards realization of Universal Health Coverage (UHC).
MoH said it will achieve this through the Digital Health Agency (DHA), a body established under Part II of the Digital Health Act of 2023; with the mandate to develop, operationalize and maintain a secure, compressive and integrated health system through management of the core digital health systems and infrastructure.

The Ministry explained that the State Department for Medical Services has entered into an agreement with Safaricom Consortium for Provision of Healthcare Information Technology Digitalization for Universal Healthcare Project and has set up a Project management Office to oversee implementation of the project.
“The project seeks to recruit qualified and competent people to fill vacant positions in the Project Management Office on a two-year contract which is renewable,” read the advert in part.

Ministry of Health Vacancies
There is one vacancy available for the following: Project Manager, Technical Manager (System Infrastructure), Project Support Manager, Finance Officer, Accountant, Supplies and Logistics Officer and Human Resource and Administration Officer.
Besides, there are two available slots for the following: System Infrastructure Engineer, Cyber Security Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, Office Assistant, Accounts Assistant and Office Administrator.
There are vacancies for the positions of Network Operation Engineer and Driver.
Further, M0H has advertised five openings for the following positions: Technical Manager, (Technical Operation), Software Engineer (Design and Development), Software Engineer (Quality Assurance), Software Engineer (Support and Maintenace) and Health Informatics Officer.
There are six vacancies for the position of Assistant Engineer.
