The Mombasa County Public Service Board has announced a new recruitment drive to fill vacancies in the County Government of Mombasa.
In a notice on August 4, the board said it is seeking suitable, qualified and competent persons to fill the advertised positions across the county government.
“The Mombasa County Public Service Board is looking for suitable, qualified and competent persons to fill in the following positions in the County Government of Mombasa,” the statement read in part.
Mombasa County Vacancies
Among the advertised vacancies are 286 positions for Registered Nurse II in the Department of Health Services, under Job Group H, on three-year contract terms.

Further, Mombasa County stated that interested candidates are required to submit their applications online through the board’s recruitment portal by August 10, 2026.
“Submission for the job Applications should be done on or before 10th August, 2026,” the board stated.
Requirements For Application
According to the Mombasa County notice, applicants are required to attach a Curriculum Vitae (CV), certified copies of their academic and professional certificates, academic transcripts, National Identity Card or Passport, and any other relevant supporting documents.
The Mombasa County Public Service Board stated that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the next stage of the recruitment process.

Shortlisted applicants will be required to present the original copies of their National Identity Card, academic and professional certificates, and academic transcripts during the interview.
Candidates who obtained their degrees from foreign universities must also produce a Clearance Certificate from the Commission for University Education (CUE), alongside any other relevant documents requested during the interview.

- Complete the online employment application form with the required details.
- Upload your CV, certified copies of your academic and professional certificates, transcripts, National ID or Passport, and any other relevant supporting documents.
- Review your application to ensure all information and documents are complete.
- Submit your application on or before August 10, 2026.

The County Public Service Board warned that canvassing in any form will result in automatic disqualification from the recruitment process.
Additionally, the board clarified that it does not use recruitment agents and does not charge any fee at any stage of the application process.
