Nakuru County Public Service Board announced 99 vacancies in the Department of Health Services and the Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, and Veterinary Services.
In a May 7 advert, the Board stated it is hiring for 15 positions in Health Services and 14 in Agriculture-related dockets.
The Board seeks to hire a dermatologist, orthodontist, medical physicist and a dental officer.
Nakuru has also announced vacancies for Registered Nurse I: Psychiatry (1), Nephrology (1) and Anaesthetist (2).
Other vacancies include Health Administrative Officer II (2), Dental Technologist III (3), Health Administrative Officer III (4), Cook (5) and Mortuary Attendant (10).
Thirteen Nursing Officers and five clinical officers are also needed.
Nakuru County Department of Agriculture Jobs
The Board announced one vacancy for the following positions: Fisheries Officer and Assistant Leather Development Officer.
There are two opportunities for Veterinary Officer, Animal Health Officer, Agricultural Officer, Livestock Production Officer, and Inspector (Agriculture).
Additionally, Nakuru advertised three opportunities for Assistant Fisheries Officers and another seven jobs for Assistant Agricultural Officers.
The Board has announced five vacancies in the following dockets: Assistant Livestock Production Officer, Assistant Animal Health Officer, Agricultural Assistant, Livestock Production Assistant and Animal Health Assistant.

Interested candidates can visit the Nakuru County Government website www.nakuru.go.ke/careers for the job specification and description.
All applications should be submitted on or before May 20, 2025, at 5.00 p.m.

Warning to Applicants
The Board emphasized that Nakuru County is committed to Zero Tolerance for Corruption.
“Canvassing in any form will lead to automatic disqualification. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted,” the Board said.
It cautioned applicants not to fall victim to fraudsters and impersonators who solicit money with a promise of influencing the outcome.
Further, it stated that it will bear no responsibility for any personal loss arising from such unlawful dealings and directed Kenyans to report to the police and other relevant law enforcement agencies.
