Nakuru County Announces 194 Permanent and Pensionable Jobs: How to Apply

The Nakuru County Public Service Board has announced 194 permanent and pensionable vacancies across its various departments as part of a major recruitment drive.

The openings span key sectors, including finance, health, administration, engineering, and support services.

In the finance department, the county is seeking to hire 25 Accountant I officers earning between Ksh41,420 and Sh57,320, and 22 Accountant II officers earning between Ksh34,420 and Sh46,120.

One Accountant I/II position declared vacant will pay between Ksh 41,420 and Ksh 57,230.

Other positions declared vacant are three Senior Accountant/Accountant I positions, which will pay between Ksh46,120 and Ksh65,860, and three Chief Accountant positions, which will pay between Ksh52,330 and Ksh68,940.

The county is also looking for four Assistant Directors of Accounting Services, earning between Ksh92,030 and Ksh133,410, and two Principal Accountants/Assistant Chief Accountants, earning between Ksh60,080 and Ksh96,130.

In the revenue management department, the board is seeking two Assistant Chief Revenue Officers or Chief Revenue Officers, who will earn between Ksh 60,080 and Ksh 96,130.

The county has one vacancy for Senior Revenue Officer, which offers a salary between Ksh52,330 and Ksh68,940, and three vacancies for Revenue Officer I, with salaries ranging from Ksh46,120 to Ksh65,860.

The supply chain and administration department has 13 Supply Chain Management Officer II positions paying between Ksh34,420 and Ksh46,120, six Supply Chain Management Assistant I roles earning between Ksh41,420 and Ksh57,230, and five Supply Chain Management Assistant III vacancies paying between Ksh28,620 and Ksh37,100.

The county is recruiting two Human Resource Management Officer II positions and three Human Resource Management Assistant III positions.

It is also seeking two candidates for each of the Records Management Officer II and III, Assistant Office Administrative Officer III, and Office Administrative Assistant III positions, and one candidate for the Public Communication Assistant III role.

Salaries for these positions range from Ksh25,420 to Ksh46,120, depending on the grade.

For clerical and support services, 18 Clerical Officer II (Revenue Clerk) positions offer pay between Ksh20,560 and Ksh26,460, while four contract Clerical Officer II roles pay between Ksh20,370 and Ksh24,280.

Ten Driver III positions, ten Senior Support Staff positions, three Gardener III roles, and five Fireman III vacancies are also available with salaries ranging from Ksh18,250 to Ksh24,470.

Health, Housing, and Senior Management Vacancies

In the health sector, the county is seeking one Medical Specialist I in Internal Medicine, with a salary of Ksh105,570 to Ksh139,790, and one Pharmacist, earning between Ksh52,330 and Ksh68,940.

Two Nursing Officer I positions are available, with salaries ranging from Ksh41,420 to Ksh57,230, along with one Clinical Officer in Psychiatry in the same pay range.

The county is also looking for two Clinical Officers in Anaesthesia, earning Ksh41,420 to Ksh57,230, and four Enrolled Nurse III positions, each with a fixed salary of Ksh40,000.

At the same time, the county is seeking one Director of Housing, with a salary of Ksh127,340 to Ksh182,890, and one Senior Assistant Director of Housing, earning between Ksh105,570 and Ksh139,790.

One Assistant Quantity Surveyor II is available, with pay ranging from Ksh41,420 to Ksh57,230, alongside one Urban Development Officer II at Ksh41,420 to Ksh57,320.

Nakuru County is also looking for a Senior Superintending Engineer (Structural), with a salary of Ksh60,080 to Ksh96,130.

Other key positions include one Counsellor I and three Assistant Cooperative Officer III vacancies.

The county is also recruiting for the positions of Deputy Director of Vocational Training, Senior Assistant Director of Human Resource Development, Assistant Director of Human Resource Management, Principal Human Resource Management Officer I, Senior Superintendent, and Senior Human Resource Management and Development Officer.

Salaries for these roles range from Ksh 46,120 to Ksh 139,790.
