National Housing Corporation Chief Executive Officer (CEO) David Mathu has been named the second-best African Young Business Leader of the year at the 14th African Business Leadership Awards (ABLA) 2024.
The winners were selected through a rigorous process that involved three steps: nominations, an online poll that ended on May 22, 2024, and a detailed review by the African Leadership Magazine (ALM) editorial board of the votes and evidence of the nominees’ achievements.
Selection process involved online poll which made up 65% of the decision-making process, with evidence of achievements contributing 35%.
The ABLA winners will be honored at the awards ceremony during the 14th African Business Leadership Awards presentation, part of the 9th ALM Africa Summit taking place on July 17 – 18, 2024, at the UK House of Lords.
African Leadership Organization Chairman, Dr. Ken Giami, praised the winners when reviewing all nominees. He noted that the winners show innovation, strength, and top quality that boost progress and success in Africa.
“The winners exemplify the spirit of innovation, resilience, and excellence driving growth and development across the continent.
