Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance Executive Director Raphael Tuju has said that the coalition won’t force anyone to stay
Tuju said Azimio is an association of the willing and nobody will be forced to stay if they are not happy.
Reacting to the exit of Alfred Mutua led Maendeleo Chapchap party, Tuju said those leaving Azimio had selfish interests that were not being fulfilled within the coalition
He accused Mutua of being an insider of the Kenya kwanza coalition inside Azimio claiming that he had been negotiating with both teams at the same time
Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi’s Pamoja African Alliance led party has also broken ranks with Azimio and joined DP Ruto’s Kenya kwanza alliance.
Mutua had claimed that he knew of five parties that were planning to exit the Azimio coalition over what he termed as ”unfair treatment”.
