Jacinta Tre’sa Ismail is a Kenyan who was shortlisted for the position of member of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).
He appeared before the IEBC Selection Panel chaired by Dr. Nelson Makanda on April 8, 2025.
Jacinta Tre’sa Ismail’s Academic Qualifications
Jacinta holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from Kenyatta University, which she earned in 2018.
She also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Financial Management from the University of South Africa.
Additionally, she is a Certified Public Accountant, accredited by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).
Work Experience
Jacinta currently serves as the Chief Officer for Cooperatives Development at the County Government of Kilifi, a position she has held since 2024.
Prior to this, she briefly served as the Chief Officer for Resource Mobilization at the same county in 2024.
From 2022 to 2024, she was the Chief Officer for the Economic Planning Division in Kilifi County.
Previously, in her career, between 2019 and 2022, Jacinta worked as the Principal Accountant for both Kilifi and Malindi Municipalities.
