Richard Mogire is the CEO of Ena Coach, a renowned transport company in Kenya that was originally founded in 2008.
He has played a vital role as Ena Coach evolved from operating vans to a premium transport service featuring a modern fleet of buses known for comfort and quality.
Before the establishment of Ena Coach as an independent brand in 2018, Richard gained extensive experience in the transport industry, particularly during his time as Finance Manager at Transline Classic Limited, the parent company of Ena.

Education and Career background of Richard Mogire
Richard Mogire holds a degree in Operations Management and a postgraduate qualification in Strategic Management.
He has been associated with Ena Coach since its inception in 2008, when the company operated under Transline Classic.
Between 2011 and 2018, he worked as a Finance Manager at Transline Classic Limited.

In 2018, Ena Coach branched off to operate independently, with Mogire taking the helm as CEO.
Under his leadership, the company has expanded services along key routes, including Kisii–Nairobi, Kisumu–Nairobi, and Nairobi–Mombasa.
Ena Coach has also distinguished itself through modern innovations such as online booking systems, Wi-Fi–enabled lounges, digital notifications for passengers, and reliable parcel delivery services.
“We wanted to redefine passenger transport by combining efficiency with comfort, and digital technology has played a major role in achieving that,” Mogire said in a past interview during a segment on KTN’s The Business Coach.

Mogire’s leadership has earned him significant accolades in the business sector.

- In 2023, he was honoured as Young CEO of the Year at the Pacesetters Awards – Eastern Africa Chapter, an event that recognised his contribution to the public service vehicle industry, which supports over 90 per cent of the professional workforce in Kenya.
- In 2024, Ena Coach was recognised as Pacesetter in the Transport and Parcel Company sector by the Jubilant Stewards of Africa.
- In 2025, he was also named Gold Winner in the Auto and Transport Industry category at the Digitally Fit Awards in Nairobi.
