Linet Chepkorir, better known as Line Toto, is a Kenyan politician who is the elected Bomet County Woman Representative.
Linet Toto is the youngest ever Member of Parliament in Kenya, having entered the National Assembly at 24 years old.
Early Life
Chepkorir was born on April 19, 1997, in Chemomul, Bomet County, to a modest family of Leonard and Betty Lang’at as the firstborn in a family of four children.
Educational Background
Linet started her education at Kapsimbri Elementary School for her Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) and later proceeded to Kapsimbri Secondary School and Siwot Secondary School to complete her high school studies.

She later pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement at Tharaka Nithi University and graduated in 2021.
Political rise
Running on a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ticket, Linet contested the Bomet Woman Representative seat in the 2022 general election.
Her campaigns were mainly sponsored by well-wishers and friends as she came from a very humble background.
She won the election convincingly, garnering national attention due to her age, campaign style, and strong voter numbers, as she defeated her opponent by more than 30,000 votes.
Linet Toto serves on several key committees:

- Public Investments Committee on Commercial Affairs and Energy
- Public Investments Committee on Social Services Administration and Agriculture
- National Government Constituencies Development Fund Committee
