Musician and businesswoman Esther Akoth, popularly known as Akothee, has offered to help orphaned children after being touched by the photo of four children standing next to the coffin of a deceased parent.
She posted the photo of children in a rural setting, standing next to a wooden casket surrounded by mourners. Their faces and clothing depict vulnerability and destitution.
“My heart is broken by the sight of these children. Does anyone have the full story or details on how we can assist?” wrote Akothee.
Akothee to put the children through school
Akothee committed to providing free education to the children in her school, Akothee Foundation Academy, under the care of a family member. She also offered to provide food, shelter, clothing, education, and motherly love to them.
“Although my school is not a boarding institution yet, if they have a surviving guardian or family member, I am willing to accommodate them under the care and guidance of their blood relatives. I will provide food, education, shelter, medical care, and any other motherly support they may need,” added the musician.

Akothee insisted that it is important that the children be accompanied by a guardian as this would guarantee their safety.
“However, it is crucial that they are accompanied by a family member. The world can be so cruel, but together, we can make a difference. May God bless you this year for touching hearts,” wrote the business lady.
