Prominent businesswoman Akothee recently provided a detailed account of the tumultuous relationship she had with her ex-husband Denis ‘Omosh’ Schweizer.
In a candid session resembling the famed ‘Who did I marry’ expose, Akothee shared instances where Omosh’s failure to keep his word led her to intervene and use her own resources to resolve the dilemmas he created.
One memorable incident involved a mix-up with a Ksh 700,000 maize order that Omosh denied ordering despite it being delivered by a government official.
When the maize arrived at her compound, she recalled how her brother had called her saying,” OCS ako kwa gate na mahindi, mvua inakuja fungua gate mahindi imefika.”
The statement when translated means ‘The OCS is at the gate with the maize and it’s about to rain so open the gate.”
Which Maize?
Upon receiving the news, she recounted how she called Omosh to inform him that his maize order had arrived, “Honey, where are you? …the maize is at the gate; the maize has arrived.”
“Which maize? I don’t know about any maize?” she recalled her ex-husband’s reaction.
Akothee said that she thought that there could have been a communication breakdown during the phone call with Omosh, so to personally resolve the issue she decided to go where he was to deliver the information.

When she informed him Akothee recounted how she was met with Omosh’s adamant denial regarding the maize delivery, as he claimed he did not know what maize she was talking about.
Delving deeper into the narrative, Akothee explained how she had to take charge of the maize situation, using her connections to supply the large order to schools after the ordeal.
Akothee Recalls the Failed Pigsty Project
She also revealed her surprise after Omosh decided to construct a pigsty on her property without her knowledge.
“When he started to build the pigsty, I was also shocked “she said.

The hastily executed project led to substantial financial losses, as Omosh had chosen the wrong breed of pigs.
Additionally, Akothee said the pigs would consume about a significant sum of about Ksh 200,000 per week and when things got rough between them, she was left with the responsibility of feeding the pigs.
“Wakati tulianza kusumbuana nikawachiwa nguruwe ni-feed” she said.
Frustrated by the situation, Akothee took matters into her own hands, selling all the pigs and sending the proceeds to Omosh.
Freeloading in her House
Additionally, Akothee also touched on the financial strain caused by Omosh’s freeloading during their stay together.
She revealed that Omosh resided in her home for six months without making any financial contributions.
Drawing attention to the financial implications, she calculated that if he had stayed in a 5-star hotel instead of her home, the cost would have been about Sh45,000 per day, which would amount to a significant sum over six months.

“He lived in my house for six months. Kama angeishi kwa 5-star hotel at Sh45,000 per day, do the math,” she said.
“I am paid an appearance fee of Sh1.5 million. Here, he used to see me every day, how much should he have paid to see me every day for 6 months?” she added.
Despite the challenges in their relationship, Akothee found relief in the fact that their lavish wedding served as the only proof of their marriage, simplifying the process of parting ways without legal issues due to the absence of a marriage certificate.
