Weeks after a silent split with her husband, Omosh, Esther Akoth, popularly known as Akothee came out to advise rich and independent women on how to treat men.
While advocating for family values, the self-proclaimed president of single women asked women to treat their men well.
In her statement, Akothee noted that although she has had a history of failed relationships, she was a reasonable person.
“I know I am a professional when it comes to failed relationships, but I got sense. And any man who has been in my life will tell you,” she noted.
Notably, she asked women to respect men regardless of their financial status.
Being an independent woman doesn’t give you audacity to devalue men or look down upon your partner.
According to Akothee, “Earning more than your partner will never make you the head of the house Madam.”

Also, the musician noted there is much to having a thriving relationship than money.
“Money doesn’t define a relationship, understanding, tolerance and being there for each other does.”
Additionally, she asked women who mistreat their men simply because they work in high-end organizations and feel like they are above the world to calm down.
She called on married women to support their husbands and grow together.
Akothee Split with Omosh
Akothee revealed that they ended their marriage with Denis Schweizer, aka Omosh, two months after their wedding.
“I walked out of the relationship in June. I normally walk out of a relationship when I am still in it. During our honeymoon, I found out some things that I could not keep up with,” she said during a TikTok live session.

Akothee said by the time she shared about her troubled marriage; she was already done with the relationship.
“June was difficult, July was heavy, August I was recovering…” she recalled.
