Kenyan singer and businesswoman Esther Akoth famously known as Akothee has asked for help after a woman showed up at her doorstep with a child.
Akothee raised the concern on Thursday, October 12, indicating that the woman travelled from Ahero in Nyando county to her home located in Rongo, Migori county.
Additionally, she stated that the lady, whose identity is undisclosed, was young and about the age of her younger daughter Fancy.
“There is a lady who has traveled all the way from A hero with a child who is about 2 years old. The girl should be the age of my daughter Fancy,” she said.
Further, the celebrity disclosed that the woman, who came begging for a job, had been trying to reach her for a period of time.

Moreover, the singer noted that her biggest concern about the stranger was that she had a two-year-old baby with her and seemed to be needy.
Moreover, the businesswoman questioned the integrity and honesty of the woman asking her fans to give her advice on how to handle the situation.
“If I am to offer her a job as a cleaner or whatever the case, is she genuine? Or is this a situation sent to come and finish me.

“How did she know my home? And how sure was she that she would succeed in seeing me?
“I am so scared, very scared. I have given them food and shelter for the night,” questioned the singer.
At the same time, although she contemplated to take in both the mother and her child, Akothee stated that it would not be an easy decision because she would be responsible for the well-being of the child.

“If I offer her a job even as a cleaner who will attend to the child?
“If I take her in together with her child, what about her background, and if anything happens to the child or her in any case, wont I be labelled a witch, “added the celebrity.
Response From Fans
Moreover, in response to Akothee’s dilemma, some of her fans asked her to give the lady a job to enable her to support herself and her child.
However, one individual warned the businesswoman against taking the woman in without details of who she was.
“Some asked her to offer her some cash and let her be on her way. There should be a shelter for women and children. Housing people you don’t know may cause problems.
“How do you even know the child is hers,” Faith Anyango stated.
