Comedian Kennedy Odhiambo popularly known as Crazy Kennar has cleared the air on why he stopped working with his former crew members, six years after creating content together.
While speaking at an interview on Obinna TV, Kennar says the crew split after the crew members developed other interests, therefore making their goals incompatible.
“But the problem comes in kama goals hazifanani. Agenda unpaush haiwezi songa sana. They’re great people but tulifika point goals zetu zikadiffer. Tulikua tumefika stagnation point, misukosuko ikaingia na the best way was to part ways (The problem comes in when goals are not similar, therefore the agenda you’re trying to push can’t be actualized. They are great people, but we got to a point where our goals differed. We got to a point where we stagnated and the best way was to part ways),” said Kennar.
Crazy Kennar urges crew to master new skills
He also said that while, urged members to master specific skill sets, owing to the owing to the fact that the background of the members was not in content creation. He went on to appreciate the moments they shared, noting that their relationship went beyond work.

“We come a long way….Si tulikua more than workmates (we were more than workmates). I appreciate the moments we were together. Tulikua tumefika level enye tulikua tumejuana, na tumelala hadi zone moja (we had come to a level where we had known each other and had slept in the same zone),” noted Kennar.

Crew Members
The crew was made up of six members: the founder, Crazy Kennar, Stanley Omondi, Bushra Sakshi, Yvonne Khisa, Useful Idioty and Wanjiru Africas. They rose to fame in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic through their creative skits that revolved around campus life, and life in general.

In 2021, Crazy Kennar scooped three Pulse Awards namely, Kenya’s Comedy Influencer, Facebook Influencer and Instagram Influencer of the Year. During the ceremony, he credited his success to his team.
“I want to thank my team, as you can see, they are all here and I thank God” he stated.
