Esther Musila, the wife of renowned gospel singer Guardian Angel, recently revealed a tale of deception that unfolded in her life on Wednesday, January 10.
In a video shared across her social media platforms, the mother of three gave details of her encounter with a woman who attempted to swindle her by fabricating tales of Guardian Angel having an affair outside their marriage.
Painting the backdrop of this astonishing incident, Musila described how a woman, who claimed to be a member of the EALA parliament and the owner of an exclusive guest house, approached her.
In Esther’s narration, the woman claimed to possess undeniable evidence of her husband’s alleged cheating.
With a tinge of disbelief, Musila shared the saved screenshots and recordings of her conversation with the stranger.
Stranger’s Message to Guardian Angel’s wife
Part of the message read,
“You seem to be a respectable, humble, sane, God-fearing, and loving woman. Have you recently suspected your man of being with another woman? I think you don’t deserve this.
Or has he chosen someone above you with big hips? This one will bring you disease for free! I own a celebrity house and therefore have access to CCTV footages and MPESA payments. I hope this will be between me and you.”
Guardian Angel’s wife continued reading the text, “You will not reveal the source of the information.”
The 53-year-old accountant kept on sharing that the woman asserted having proof of her husband’s unfaithfulness, even disclosing MPESA transaction messages, allegedly payments for a VIP guest room.
During the conversation, the alleged imposter expressed sympathy saying, “You know, this is not fair to you.”
Esther Musila’s Reaction
However, Esther Musila while playing along to the scam responded noting that she was too old to follow a man around.
“I am 53 years old; I will never follow a man. Whatever he wants to do, he can do it. There is nothing I can stop. He himself has no need to worry,” she responded.
As Musila expressed her intention to conduct her own investigation, the mysterious lady audaciously demanded a ‘token’ payment for the information she claimed to possess.
Fearlessly, Musila conducted her research. She scrutinized Guardian Angel’s phone to validate the authenticity of the MPESA transaction messages.
In the end, she discovered that all the claims made by the fraudster were nothing but elaborate fabrications.
“I asked Guardian for his phone where I checked the MPESA messages and noted that all the claims made by this lady was a scam,” she added.
Days after marrying Esther Musila, gospel singer Guardian Angel continued to make headlines for getting hitched to a woman older than him.
Kenyans are still talking about the private wedding between the gospel artiste and 53-year-old Esther, who is 20 years older than him.
Their wedding is ranked third on Google Trends with more than 5,000 searches.
