Businessman and CEO of Kai & Karo Limited, Joseph Kairo Wambui, popularly known as Khalif Kairo, has opened up about his new marriage and explained why he married Maria Wavinya, a woman he has known for less than four months.
In an exclusive interview with YouTube host Eve Mungai on Tuesday, October 15, Kairo stated that he is “technically married” and that they probably haven’t had that big wedding yet.
“I’ve been in toxic relationships before, but once you mature and develop a certain mindset, you realize it’s time to settle down and start a family. We’ve already made the decision to settle down, and we are very happy, just living life one step at a time,” Kairo said.
“When you meet a woman who shares the same mindset and principles, someone who wants to raise your children, you don’t waste time, but you just go for it.”

Kairo went on to describe Maria as someone who brings a lot of brightness into his life and expressed certainty that she is the woman he wants to spend his life with.
“She’s a very bright person. There are times when pressure gets me down and makes me gloomy, but she stays bright,” Kairo added.
“We sat down and talked about most of the major things, and we realized that we are both very reasonable people and very grateful.”

Businessman Explains Why He Married After Four Months of Dating
While responding to Mungai’s question about whether he rushed into marriage and is currently in the honeymoon stage, Kairo stated that when he sees a good opportunity, he goes for it.
“Sorry to say this but I approach relationships like business me I’m one of those people um if I see a good opportunity somewhere I’ll go for it, the same thing that happened when I saw Maria and thought it was fine,” Kairo said.
“I realized that while I have met other relationships that did not work out, I cannot give up on her. She’s good. She’s perfect, and I’m not saying she’s 100% perfect. We both have our own imperfections.”

He went on to state that relationships are all about tolerance and learning how you can work around those imperfections adding that family is a good thing God wasn’t crazy when he gave Adam a wife.
“So basically, I’m trying to say that marriage doesn’t have a specific timeline. Some people date for five years and still don’t get married,”
“People end up breaking up and meeting someone new within one or two months because they find someone who fills all the gaps. That’s what I saw with Maria; she represents everything I’ve been looking for all these years.”
He added that he feels it is a connection from God, as there was no struggle, and everything just worked out well.
