Khalif Kairo Responds After Being Exposed by Former Business Partner

Embattled car dealer Khalif Kairo has broken the silence days after being exposed by his former business partner, Clement Kinuthia.

Speaking at the ‘Iko Nini’ podcast, Clement shared details of how they fell out with Kairo and accused him of ruining his business as well as his marriage. He shared screenshots of how he reportedly texted Clement’s wife, accusing him of infidelity.  

Kairo stated that his reputation speaks for him as a car dealer.  He stated that he is flourishing because of God and that his friends and mentees know the real story about him.

Khalif Kairo credits his success to God

“My reputation speaks for itself. For every one person who does a podcast and paints me in a bad light, there are five other people who will come out and defend me,” he stated.

He added that whatever he has achieved is a result of his hard work and not because he has been supported by anyone.

“ I credit my success to God, and he is the reason I am standing despite everything I went through last year. Let God defend His project, which he began in November 1996,” said Khalif.

 Kairo stated that he began his company, Kai and Karo, solely with the help of money from his mum.

“Shout out to my mum. I remember he sat me down and asked me how much money I needed to start my own company. She went to her women’s finance group and took a Ksh 1 million loan,” stated Kairo.

He added that there are people who have been paying bloggers to attack him and his family. He stated that as a result, his clients were made to believe that he was a thief and therefore took him to court.

How Clement and Kairo fell out

Kairo, however, stated that the trolls do not bother him, and his focus is now on his company.

Clement opened up on various incidences that culminated in their fallout. Clement had founded a company in 2020 with his friend named Imports by Kairo, where Kairo worked as a salesperson.

Clement stated that they named the company after Kairo as a strategic move following his significant following on social media that would help in branding the company.

The revelations caused a frenzy on social media, with many users reacting to the accusations made against Kairo. Khalif Kairo had gone silent on social media before releasing the video responding to the accusations.
