Media personality Kimani Mbugua has landed a new job shortly after leaving a rehabilitation centre.
The former Citizen TV journalist got a life-changing opportunity on Obinna TV, a talk show by the media personality Oga Obinna.
Obinna made the announcement while interviewing Kimani on his show on December 16, about his life after rehabilitation.
“Then next year I have a job for you on Obinna TV studios. There is a show that I would like you to spearhead. Next year, mid-January we can reconvene then we get you back to doing what you do,” said Obinna.
Obinna stated that the job offer is meant to give Kimani a sense of purpose to ensure that he does not relapse into drug and substance abuse.
Why Obinna offered him a job
“I am trying to give you back purpose, so that you can earn a living. I want you to come and work, whatever work we will agree on, you will do it for six or seven months as you build momentum, then when you can take off, by all means,” added Obinna.
Kimani Mbugua received the offer with open arms saying he is a man of his word and that he cannot wait to come on board on the show.
