Actor Luwi Capello has made a remarkable comeback to the acting industry after surviving a horrific accident that affected his life.
During an interview on the Kula Cooler show with Oga Obinna, Luwi shared his story and how the accident changed his perspective on life.
According to the actor, the accident affected his brain and caused it to swell, leading to short-term memory loss. Luwi also had to drop out of broadcasting school because he couldn’t remember what he had studied. However, he has improved but still uses medication to help him cope.
The accident occurred when Luwi was on his way to watch a boxing match in Malindi with three other passengers. Unfortunately, only he was injured when the car rolled over three times and hit a coconut tree. He was hospitalized for four months, underwent physiotherapy, and was in the ICU.

Reflecting on the experience, Luwi said the accident changed his perspective on life and helped him realize who his faithful friends were. He added that the accident humbled him and made him more grateful for the people in his life.
Luwi also credited the accident with helping him find salvation and turn his life around. Although he never publicly announced it, he is now back in the acting industry, and his fans are delighted to see him back doing what he does best.
Despite the enormous medical bill that came to Sh6 million, Luwi expressed gratitude to Kenyans for their support during his recovery. His story inspires many going through tough times and reminds us of the importance of having a positive outlook on life.
