Kenyan singer and songwriter Nadia Mukami has won the African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) 2023 marking a significant milestone in her career.
She shared the news on Monday, September 18, celebrating her new achievement. Nadia is now crowned the best female artists in East Africa.
Nadia has trampled over other East African nominees including Maua Sama of Tanzania and Zuchu of Tanzania.

The award ceremony took place in Dallas, Texas on Sunday, September 17.
Moreover, her fans poured their heart congratulations to the singer praising her for her hard work and resilience in the industry.
“This is an incredible achievement and a testament to your exceptional talent and hard work. This dedication to your craft has paid off, and you truly deserve this recognition.
“Your music has touched the hearts of many, and your unique style and powerful voice has captured audiences worldwide. We are incredibly proud of you,” a statement from Don Fiddie read in part.
At the same time, award winning Kenyan band Sauti Sol was nominated for two categories of the awards including the Best African group and the Best Live Act categories.

Other Recent Awards Nadia Mukami Has Won
Earlier in 2021, Nadia was crowned won the Finance Category of the Zuri Awards because of her savings initiative known as the Financial Discipline Journey.
She shared her journey with her followers highlighting the importance of financial discipline and cultivating a savings culture among the youth.
The award saw Nadia grow in her career, setting her apart from other singers and introducing a huge international following to her fan base.
“I am filled with so much joy today. This financial discipline journey is important because it is something that is so dear to me.
“I am so scared of being famous and broke and upon my retirement, this is what I want to do,” she stated at the time.
