Content creator Purity Vishenwa, popularly known as Pritty Vishy, has revealed how social media pressure made her move into a one-bedroom apartment before moving back into a bedsitter.
In an Instagram post on Sunday morning October 27, 2024, Vishy narrated her journey back from a mud-walled house in Kibera to a one-bedroom apartment.
In the first instance, Vishy said she moved into a one-bedroom and only stayed for three days before moving out.
Afterwards, she moved into another one-bedroom but stayed for only one month due to financial constraints.
“Have I ever told you how the pressure from social media made me live in a one-bedroom house for 3 days, then I moved out? Have I told you how I lived in another one-bedroom place for a month before moving again,” she said.
Vishy then realized she could not keep up with the pressure and decided to move back to a bedsitter.
“Then I realized I couldn’t keep up with this pressure, so I found a simple bedsitter. You guys, I have a lot to tell you because wow, life,” she shared.
The Content creator explained how she loved her bedsitter after moving from her house to Kibera.
First Time Living in a Bed-Sitter
She described her first experience after moving out of the mud-thatched house as a big deal.
“I loved this house with everything in me because you can imagine from staying in a mud-thatched house to this, it was a big deal,” Vishy said.
Vishy said her mother was proud of her when she moved into the bedsitter even though her former classmates did not approve of the move.

How Friends Criticized Pritty Vishy
According to the Content, her friends criticized staying in a bedsitter despite being a celebrity.
The criticism made her shy away from hosting visitors at his apartment.
