Kenyan rapper Wangechi has called out someone whose identity she did not reveal for failing to pay her dues.
Taking to her X platform the rapper said that she would follow the person for her money for as long as it takes. She also added that she would destroy the person.
“I work my whole life to create music, and you think I am going to let that slide? Utatoa pesa (you will give back my money bro). Even if it takes me two more years, I will find every single coin that you owe me. I will destroy you. Mark my words,” stated Wangechi.
Kenyans react to Wangechi’s remarks
The rapper cautioned the man in question for playing with her intellectual property and added that the post had nothing to do with Kenyan rapper King Kaka.
“Stop playing with my intellectual property. This has nothing to do with King Kaka,” stated Wangechi.

The message left many people wondering what the artist was talking about while some urged her to mention the person.
“Let us normalize addressing people directly, hit the nail on the head, please. Thank you,” stated an Instagram user, Mumbus.
“2025 let us be bold, we need names,” stated another user named Dazshoes.
Wangechi involved in a grisly accident
Wangechi made an entry in the music career in 2013 when she released her song ‘Chakula ya Soul’. She made her big breakthrough in music that year after featuring on the ‘Ligi Soo remix that featured other Kenyan artists.
Wangechi has recently worked with the Kenyan music group Wakadinali to produce the song“Romantic Rivals”. This song has garnered over two million views on YouTube.

She has also worked with another track with the music group Buruklyn Boyz. The song is titled ‘Mzigo’.
In 2024, Wangechi marked ten years since she survived a grisly road accident that tragically claimed the life of her best friend, Tionna.
