Actress Nancy Wanjiku Karanja, known to many as Shix Kapyenga has taken to social media to honour the memory of the late Nairobi Half-Life actor, Wilfred Olwenya Maina alias Oti.
An emotional Shix Kapyenga could not contain her sorrow as she took to her Instagram page to express how much she misses the late Oti.
The actress shared photos of herself hugging Oti and others documenting the Nairobi Half-Life movie, followed by a short but very touching caption.
“Forever in our hearts “Wanyina” ….Nairobi Half-Life is now on Netflix Global 🙂🔥” Shix wrote.
Fellow celebrities and other netizens were moved by the post and hit the comments section to also share about how great of an actor the late Oti was.
Many disclosed they really miss him on TV and would have loved to see more of him, but death did not allow it.

Quite a number reminisced on his role on Nairobi Half-Life which is actually the latest Kenyan film to air on Netflix, following others such as Poacher, Disconnect, Subira among others.
The Kenya Times understands Nairobi Half-Life started streaming on the global platform barely a month after marking its 10th anniversary.
The film made its gallant debut on Netflix on October 21.
Nairobi Half-Life was directed by David’ Tosh’ Gitoga and featured big names such as Joseph Wairimu as Mwas, the late Olwenya Maina, Nancy Wanjiku alias Shix Kapyenga, Paul Ogola, and Mugambi Nthiga, among others.
