YouTuber Andrew Kibe has been in a heated YouTube feud with musician Akothee.
It all started when Kibe made a controversial comparison between Akothee’s bedroom skills and those of a Kenyan political figure. Akothee did not take kindly to the comment and took to social media to express her disapproval.
Kibe posted a 10-minute video dedicated to addressing the issue and criticizing Akothee. However, instead of addressing the issue, Kibe began by mocking Akothee’s English. He claimed she couldn’t articulate her points in English while lecturing him.
Kibe then read Akothee’s message, pointing out grammatical and semantic errors along the way. He shamed Akothee, telling her she either knew how to talk or didn’t and shouldn’t try to be in between.

Kibe also criticized Akothee for involving his fans in the issue, claiming that she had called them toxic people. He requested that Akothee keep the matter between themselves and their families and not involve others.
In a further twist, Kibe dragged Akothee’s daughter, Rue Baby, into the feud. In another video, he suggested that Rue Baby should have typed the message on behalf of her mother, as he claimed that he couldn’t understand Akothee’s English.
“Give Rue Baby your phone. Tell her what you want to say, and she will send me the message. I need to be talking to Rue because you (Akothee) and I don’t have the same English,” Kibe said.
Kibe’s actions have been criticized by both Akothee’s fans and social media users in general. Many have accused Kibe of being disrespectful and unprofessional, while others have noted that Akothee’s English is not the issue.
The feud between Kibe and Akothee shows no signs of slowing down, with both parties continuing to post videos and comments aimed at each other. However, many call for the two to resolve their issues privately rather than airing their dirty laundry on social media.
While YouTube feuds can be entertaining, it’s important to remember that real people are behind the screens. Disrespectful behaviour and personal attacks should not be tolerated, and it’s important to treat others with kindness and respect, both online and offline.
