Sunmisola Agbebi, a Nigerian gospel singer has been named Spotify EQUAL artist for February 2025.
She has been recognized for her talent and her impact in the gospel music industry.

“Being an EQUAL ambassador on Spotify this month is a blessing I deeply cherish. It’s a powerful reminder that when you obey God, remain diligent in your calling, pursue excellence, and live a life of service,” Sunmisola said.
She joins Quig Madi in the 2025 EQUAL Africa programme, a Spotify initiative that is dedicated to showcasing outstanding female talent from the continent and elevating them globally.

Music and Early Life
She began singing at the age of four and remained steadfast in her journey. She has a passion for playing drums, a skill that her fans do not know.
For her passion for music, she participated in numerous gospel competitions, earning accolades and solidifying her reputation.

She has earned outstanding recognition as a powerful minister of the gospel.
While growing up she loved listening to artists like Cece Winams, Mama Bola Are, Shola Allyson, Kim Burell among others.
Her career journey began when she was twenty-two (22) years since then she has emerged as a powerful gospel minister of God.

Sunmisola Rise to Fame
In November 2020, she released a debut single “Amazing”, a song that introduced her to the world and became a cornerstone for her music journey.
She became popular in the gospel industry after releasing her hit song “Koseunti” catching the attention of many.
Sunmisola has released tracks like “B’Ola” meaning honour, that blends traditional African drums with contemporary sounds and infused chants.
Other albums that have become a hit include “My Daddy, My Daddy”, and “Aileyipada” among other praise and worship songs.
Her music delivers a heartfelt worship that resonates with listeners and strengthens faith.
Recently, she released “Holyspirit” a song that expresses reverence to God.
Additionally, she is set to release a new album called “Glory” on February 21, 2025.

Family and Marriage
Sunmisola is married to Yinka Okeleye and together they have been blessed with a son.
Yinka Okeleye is also a talented gospel artist and worship leader from Ogun state in Nigeria. He is a music director at the Redeemed Christian Church.
They have not yet released a song together even though they are both music artist.
Her husband serves as a member of the regional and national youth choirs of the Redeemed Christian Church.
