Kenyan Instagram model and beauty icon Vera Sidika has addressed reports stating that she underwent a fresh facial surgery.
Vera, who also doubles up as an entrepreneur, had on October 29, 2024, shared the news of undergoing a facial procedure with her 2.6 million Instagram followers in a lively video from Manchester, United Kingdom, where she was currently visiting.
In the video, Vera addressed the curiosity of her fans, joking, “So you guys are wondering, how many faces does Vera have? Every day it seems like I have a new one! Well, guess what? I’m here to buy a new face. I have 35 faces!”
The socialite, known for her flattering skin lightening and breast augmentation surgery, then gave her followers a glimpse of her pre-procedure routine at the MCR Aesthetics clinic.
She showed her face covered with numbing cream, a vital step she said helps minimize discomfort and pain during the procedure.
Vera undergoes surgery
After the procedure which she said lasted approximately two hours, Vera unveiled her stunning new face look, adding to her already stunning repertoire of looks.
“Oh my God, I look amazing!” she exclaimed, radiating confidence as she shared her transformation with her followers.

However, Sidika has clarified that the procedure was not a cosmetic surgery as majority of her many fans concluded.
The Instagram model in a statement on November 1 said that she instead underwent a dermal filler injection, popularly known as a facelift.
This is a temporary procedure that adds volume to the face and smooths out wrinkles using injectable substances to make one appear younger and more youthful.
In the procedure, a flap of skin is pulled back on each side of the face where excess skin is removed, and the tissues beneath changed.
“I did not get cosmetic surgery on my face Some People need exposure for real. I got fillers. They are temporary and last 9 months then dissolve,” Sidika clarified.
According to its website, MCR Aesthetics where Vera underwent the procedure is an aesthetics clinic based in Manchester which offers a wide range of advanced aesthetics and anti-ageing treatments.
MCR Aesthetics is renowned for its ability to help people enhance their features and make them look and feel their best through procedures such as lip increase, cheek augmentation, and anti-wrinkle.
Other procedures offered include non-surgical rhinoplasty, jawline augmentation, nose-to-mouth lines and lip flips among others.
Vera Sidika, the Instagram model known for her stunning looks, has undergone a couple of surgeries in the past to enhance her beauty.
Her latest procedure continues this trend, showcasing her commitment to evolving her appearance and maintaining her status as a beauty icon.
Sidika opens up on surgeries
Sidika back in 2022 shared her opened up on her reconstructive surgery experience, reversing a body enhancement surgery she underwent many years ago.
The TV reality star said that she had since let it all go as she revealed the pains she went through to maintain the plastic body.
At the time, she said the move to surgically enhance her body was ill-advised and that she had to undergo reconstruction surgery after multiple ‘health risks and complications’.
Vera also revealed that she skipped her 2022 birthday celebrations due to the complications, cautioning women against considering the procedure while also thanking God and her husband for being there for her the entire time.
“This has been the hardest phase of my life. Due to health risks and complications, I had to undergo surgery. It’s still very unbelievable but I’ve come to love myself regardless. I’m lucky to be alive, God loves me so much,” she said.
She went on to add, “Honestly, it’s been pretty hard. I didn’t even celebrate my birthday this year but here we are. Happy Birthday to me. I’ve come to appreciate life and never take things for granted. Thanks to my family, especially my husband for being there for me.”
While sharing a photo, Vera promised to share her surgery journey with her fans and to any woman contemplating body enhancement surgery, adding that sharing her journey might make them change their minds.
Vera Sidika rose to fame after appearing in the P-Unit music video for the song ‘You Guy’ and has since become a household name in the Kenyan entertainment and beauty scene.
