The company indicated that flexibility for deployment to these locations may improve an applicant’s chance of being matched to an open position.
EABL stated that applicants must indicate their preferred internship period at the time of submitting their application, clarifying that only students in their third or final year are eligible and must plan to continue their studies after the internship or be awaiting graduation.
Candidates who completed their education more than 12 months ago will not qualify and will have their applications automatically declined.
Requirements and how to apply
Applicants must also be students of a public or accredited private institution undertaking a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and must be on school break during the internship period.
The applicants are further required to provide a letter from their institution confirming their student status or need for attachment, a personal accident insurance cover for the entire internship duration, bank account details, a National ID, Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) PIN, and National Social Security Fund (NSSF) and Social Health Authority (SHA) numbers.

EABL, at the same time, emphasized several critical steps in the application process. Applicants must clearly specify their current area of study or degree title in the education or job experience section to enable proper departmental placement.
The internship runs for a fixed period of three months with no extension. Once applications close, candidates will be required to complete an online test to proceed to the next stage of the recruitment process. The company will not accept offline applications; all submissions must be made through the online portal.
EABL also underlined that it does not charge any fees at any stage of the application process and warned applicants to beware of fraudsters.
The company said that applications for the 2026 internship program will close on 31st December 2025.
