Gulf Energy has announced dozens of job openings linked to the South Lokichar Oil Development, a major project expected to transform Kenya’s oil and gas sector.
The recruitment drive targets both experienced professionals and recent graduates, offering opportunities across technical, operational and support functions.
The company, which is leading the South Lokichar Basin oil development, said the hiring is aimed at building a strong workforce ahead of its first oil target set for December 2026.
The project is Kenya’s first commercial oil development and is seen as a key national investment that could reshape the country’s energy future.
Gulf Energy Announces Job Vacancies
According to the job advert, Gulf Energy has listed 39 distinct job positions, but the total number of vacancies is 61 due to multiple openings in several roles.

Applications close on June 26, 2026, at 5:00 pm East African Time.
Gulf Energy pointed out that, given the expected volume of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
Any form of canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification.
