IEBC Adds 670 New Voters Just Few Days to By-elections

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has added 670 voters just days before the by-elections.

In a gazette notice dated Friday, October 21, 2025, the electoral body stated that it had added 670 voters at Kabuchai Constituency to the initial number of 17,618 registered voters published in a gazette notice dated October 29, 2025. This brings the total number of registered voters to 18,288.

“IN Gazette Notice No. 15733 of 2025, Vol. CXXVII-No. 222, published on the 29th October, 2025, delete and insert as specified herein below, In the Third Schedule Page 7461; Row 19; Column 11; Delete: 17,618 Insert: 18,288 ” read the gazette notice.
