The Inspector General of Police Japheth Koome on Tuesday met with the United States Embassy delegation.
Led by Nicolas Keefe, the acting Regional Director of the Diplomatic Security High Threat Programs Directorate, the delegation is responsible for the security and law enforcement operations at the Department of State’s high-threat, high-risk overseas missions in Africa.
Present in the meeting held at the National Police Service headquarters in Nairobi were Senior Regional Security Patrick Mills, Deputy Regional Security Officer Prestina D. Williams, US Embassy Nairobi Security Noberts Odol, Director Human Capital Development and Administration, Senior Assistant Inspector General Rosemary Kuraru, and Director Corporate Communication Spokesperson Resila Onyango.

Koome and Keefe appreciated the continued good relations between Kenya and the United States.
“We appreciate partnership in training NPS Officers both locally and in the United States and collaboration in the provision of security,” Koome said.
Discussions centered around the continued strong relationship between the two countries, with a focus on partnership in training National Police Service (NPS) Officers both locally and in the United States, as well as collaboration in the provision of security.
