The Judiciary in Kenya has adopted technology through its E-Judiciary system, providing faster and more efficient access to legal services for citizens, lawyers, and organizations.
The system enables users to file cases, check cause lists, and perform other legal tasks online, reducing the need for physical court visits.
The E-Filing platform enables users to submit court documents, pay fees, and track the progress of their cases electronically.
To get started, users visit the official portal at https://efiling.court.go.ke, create an account by entering valid personal and contact details, and activate it via an email confirmation.
How to Use the Judiciary Case Tracking System
Registered users can file new cases or submit additional documents to existing ones by selecting the correct court station and uploading necessary files.

Payments are made securely through M-PESA using Paybill number 553388. Once payment is confirmed, the system generates a unique case number that users must note for future reference.
The Judiciary has also established e-filing kiosks across various locations for those lacking digital access, making the system more inclusive. Services like real-time cause list access enhance transparency by letting users monitor scheduled hearings online.
The E-Judiciary system offers convenience, saves time, promotes transparency, and supports eco-friendly digital submissions.
